Supervisors gained tools to improve healthcare team management and organizational performance.

Dr. Afzal Shamsi Associate Professor of Nursing at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, stated on the sidelines of the fourth round of interviews for accepted students in the Emergency Medicine program that the emergency medicine interviews for the national university entrance exam have been held at Tehran University of Medical Sciences for the past four years in collaboration with Tehran Emergency Medical Services and the National Emergency Medical Services. This collaboration has resulted in the development of a standardized and systematic interview process, and the successful candidates from these interviews are introduced to other universities across the country.

The Health in Disasters and Emergencies Group at the School of Public Health, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, organized a two-day workshop for disaster management leaders and prevention experts from medical universities nationwide. Held in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Traffic Police, Emergency Medical Services, and Tehran Fire Department, the workshop focused on strategic and operational plans to prevent accidents like traffic incidents, drowning, carbon monoxide poisoning, and explosive-related injuries, especially during the year’s final Wednesday. Dr. Kazem Naddafi, Dean of the School of Public Health, and General Seyed Teimoor Hosseini, Head of the Traffic Police, highlighted the workshop's importance and the university's role in disaster prevention.
