The evaluation plan for the World Osteoporosis Day campaign is being executed and developed by the Osteoporosis Research Center at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, commissioned by the Office of Non-Communicable Diseases of the Ministry of Health. Osteoporosis is a metabolic disease meaning bone loss. Each year, the International Osteoporosis Foundation designs a slogan for World Osteoporosis Day on October 20th, based on which educational materials are prepared, and educational planning is conducted accordingly.
