TUMS VIEW is a program on Sina Media that highlights the achievements of Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) in various medical fields. Notable successes include awake craniotomy, a complex brain surgery performed while the patient is awake to ensure safety and precision; advancements in cystic fibrosis treatment, where collaboration with the Iranian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has significantly improved patient lifespans; and pioneering work in facial reconstruction using personalized prosthetics, with over 200 successful cases since 2018. Additionally, Danawell, a TUMS-affiliated company, has developed cranial and facial prostheses, contributing to more than 200 surgeries. The university has also excelled in separating conjoined twins using specialized laser technology and has collaborated on over 1,000 endoscopic skull base surgeries with excellent outcomes. Overall, the program showcases TUMS’s commitment to medical innovation, collaboration, and high-quality healthcare.

The Research and Technology Vice Chancellorship at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) is driving technological advancement through extra-academic research. Dr. Bahareh Yazdizadeh, Director of Research and Technology Affairs, outlined three impact tiers: (A) Knowledge-based product development, (B) Research implementation, and (C) Health, social, and economic benefits. One major project is the ProSpect cardiac SPECT device, with insights from Dr. Mohammad Reza Ay, head of the preclinical lab. Additionally, Dr. Ay introduced software for high-resolution imaging in the Xtrim PET system, enhancing drug research. Further innovations include the production of "Faxibet Plus" and "Tofaxel" by Noavaran Daroui Kimia Company, with Dr. Zahra Rezaei detailing their development. These initiatives reinforce TUMS’s commitment to research-driven technological progress.

TUMS VIEW series showcase a collection of content created by Tehran University of Medical Sciences to address youth population issues in Iran. Since the establishment of the Tehran University of Medical Sciences Youth Population Headquarters in 2022, the media committee has been producing educational and promotional content across various themes. To date, 11 episodes of 'TUMS TALK' for discourse and education, 3 episodes of 'TUMS LIFE' for promoting marriage and childbearing, and 3 episodes of 'TUMS RES' to fulfill the university's social responsibility have been produced.
