بیمارستان کودکان حکیم دانشگاه علوم پزشکی تهران در سال ۱۴۰۳ موفق به راه‌اندازی بخش جراحی قلب باز کودکان شد و با انجام پنجاه عمل موفق، گام بلندی در ارائه خدمات پیشرفته درمانی برداشت. به همین مناسبت، جشن پنجاهمین جراحی موفق قلب باز برگزار شد که این دستاورد ارزشمند، بار دیگر جایگاه بیمارستان کودکان حکیم را به‌عنوان یکی از مراکز پیشرو و نوآور در حوزه سلامت کودکان تثبیت کرد.

The master's thesis of Mohammad Heydarian Manesh on "Virtual Clinics" was successfully implemented at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Launched in June 2018, these clinics provide remote healthcare services, especially to patients in remote areas, reducing costs and environmental impact while improving access to health services. Despite some operational challenges, the project shows great promise for the future of digital health in Iran and globally.

In this episode of TUMS GC, Dr. Parastou Ariana, Deputy of Treatment, and Dr. Alimohamad Moradi, a Liver and Pancreas Surgery Fellowship at Hakim Hospital, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, provided insights into the first liver transplant performed at Hakim Hospital. Dr. Ariana described the liver transplant program as one of Hakim Hospital’s missions and added that over a year of serious planning and preparation had been undertaken. She stated that with the use of advanced equipment and the collaboration of top surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses, the procedure was successfully implemented. Dr. Moradi further explained that their patient was a 13-year-old boy with a rare enzymatic disorder. Due to an inability to metabolize cholesterol, he had developed fat deposits in his coronary arteries, making liver transplantation the only viable treatment for him.

In this episode of TUMS GC, Dr. Khadijeh Zareii, a faculty member of the Pediatric and Pediatric Intensive Care Department at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, explains that games play a crucial role in children's growth and that their development is shaped through play. To support this, a project called the "Play Trolley" has been designed. This trolley functions as a mobile playroom in hospital wards. The trolley is three stories high, with age-appropriate play items for each ward. Additionally, music and child-friendly films are provided to create a joyful atmosphere for children. Khadijeh Zareii mentioned that to cover the costs, a campaign has been launched, aiming to expand this initiative to more hospitals with the help of the public.

The Pediatric Dentistry Department at the School of Dentistry, Tehran University of Medical Sciences is dedicated to providing specialized oral health care for children, including preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic services. This department plays a crucial role in training future dentists and improving pediatric oral health through clinical services and academic research. Dr. Saeedeh Mokhtari Khoee, Head of the Pediatric Dentistry Department, emphasized the importance of service quality and explained that the pediatric division operates at the highest standards, offering both general and specialized services, including advanced operating room procedures. She also highlighted that all treatments in this center are carried out under the supervision of experienced faculty members.

در این برنامه از تامز جی سی، دکتر پرستو آریانا، معاون درمان و دکتر علی محمد مرادی، فلوشیپ جراحی کبد و پانکراس بیمارستان حکیم دانشگاه علوم پزشکی تهران، درباره اولین پیوند کبد در بیمارستان حکیم، توضیحاتی ارائه دادند. دکتر آریانا برنامه پیوند کبد را یکی از رسالت‌های بیمارستان حکیم دانست و افزود: بیش از یک سال برنامه‌ریزی و آماده‌سازی جدی انجام شده و اکنون با بهره‌گیری از تجهیزات پیشرفته و همکاری بهترین جراحان، متخصصان بیهوشی و پرستاران، این فرایند به مرحله اجرا رسید. دکتر مرادی هم گفت: بیمار ما یک پسر ۱۳ ساله با اختلال آنزیمی نادر است که به دلیل متابولیزه نشدن کلسترول، دچار رسوب چربی در عروق کرونر شده و پیوند کبد تنها راه درمان او بود.

3 مرکز خدمات جامع سلامت خریداری شده و در حال بازسازی در مرکز بهداشت جنوب تهران به نام پروفسور حسین ملک افضلی، مرحوم پروفسور ابوالحسن ندیم و شهید مدافع سلامت دکتر مجید شریف نیا نامگذاری شد. دکتر ملک افضلی و همسر شهید سلامت از این اقدام مرکز بهداشت جنوب تهران ابراز خرسندی و قدردانی کردند.
