Annually, a group of distinguished researchers from universities and scientific and research institutes across the country, with outstanding scientific publications, are identified and supported through various mechanisms such as research grants, grants for services of the strategic technology laboratory network, and support for the recruitment and employment of postdoctoral researchers.
In the ninth cycle of the ceremony, held on November 10, 2023, at the Espinas Hotel in Tehran, 57 winners of this year's Iran's Top Scientists Program were introduced and honored.
The winners of this annual program are selected from among researchers at universities, research institutes, and scientific and research institutions across the country based on the regulations for the selection and support of Iran's top scientists.
